Nov. 13, 2009: Council Land Use Action to Rezone 130,000 sq. ft. of land from NC2 40' and L3 to NC3 40'. Project includes a 4-story building containing 59,000 sq. ft. of retail grocery store (Safeway), 20,000 sq. ft. of additional commercial and 40 apartment units. Project also includes 9,100 cu. yds. of grading and an alley vacation. Parking for 227 vehicles to be provided at, below and above grade. Existing 35,000 sq. ft. grocery store to be demolished and a single family residence to be relocated or demolished. Project related to Lot Boundary Adjustment 3010683 and MUP 3010684.
