June 10, 2015: Removal of sod on planting strip to plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and groundcover with accessible walkways and space for exiting parked cars.

Sod will be sheet mulched with cardboard and compost, then a layer of soil added. Mulch will be spread after planting is complete to help retain moisture and avoid runoff.

Plants include: 3 PawPaw Trees, 3 Elderberries, 3 Gooseberries, Foxgloves, Lamb's Ear, Primroses, Bee Balm, Spotted Deadnettle, Mint, Alpine Strawberries, and groundcover for between pathway stones.

Pathways will be made of urbanite. 1ft clearance between curb and beginning of planting, with paths to sidewalk every 15ft. Also 1ft clearance from sidewalk to allow for plant maturation.
