Oct. 22, 2016: In general, project consists of general maintenance improvements to replace aged stormwater infrastructure. Work includes the replacement of 10 old Washington Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Type 1P stormwater catch basins with new WSDOT Type 2 catch basins with removable catch basin treatment inserts, replacement of 3 old gate valves with new gate valves housed in valve vaults, re-installation of approximately 275 linear feet of gutter on existing warehouse, and the installation of 6 removable downspout treatment boxes (containers filled with Bioretention Soil Mix, drainage aggregate, and underdrains) to treat stormwater runoff from building roof tops (photo submitted).
