Dec. 1, 2016: Ash Grove Cement Company (AGC) is proposing to replace the existing conveyor at their marine terminal
facility located on the Lower Duwamish Waterway (LDW) at 3801 East Marginal Way South in Seattle, Washington. A support truss structure would be fabricated and a new conveyor would be built into it. The existing truss and conveyor would be removed. The existing tower support in the water and the land-based structure at either end of the conveyor would remain. The new system would then be installed in the same location as the existing conveyor and truss support structure. The replacement conveyor would be mounted to the existing support towers. No in-water work is proposed as part of this Project.
