13544 RIVIERA PL NE

Aug. 19, 2017: The overall project is to repair the existing failing concrete and timber bulkhead. The timber face is in need of repair and the piles between the timber face and concrete are rotting.
Waterfront Construction will load a barge with the equipment and materials necessary to repair the existing bulkhead. The new bulkhead face will be constructed out of galvanized steel H-Beams on 8-ft. centers. Spanning in-between the 8' centers will be 4"x12"x8' .6 AZCA marine grade pressure treated timber boards. The timber boards will be installed 2-3 feet below the mudline. The H-Beams will be installed 6-10 feet below the lake bottom. Along the bulkhead, at every H-Beam, (8 feet) a Manta Ray land anchor will be driven back into the bank for stability. The entire bulkhead will have a barrier of filter fabric to stop any particles from escaping through the bulkhead. A cap will be installed on top of the bulkhead after the installation. Steel plates will be welded on top of the H-Beams to hold the wood timbers down and also serve as a mounting plate for the (2) 4"x12" AZCA pressure treated cap beams. After the repair has been completed, the old spoils will be taken away and 8 c/y of crushed rock backfill will be barged in and installed behind the face of the wall.

Canceled.
