Sept. 20, 2018: Land Use Application to subdivide a landmarked site (Battelle Memorial Institute/Talaris Conference Center) into 51 parcels and 6 tracts of open space. Project includes construction of 48 single family residences; change of use of Buildings A, B and C from institutional to duplex residential units; expansion and change of use of Building D from institutional to office and childcare uses; and change of use of Building F from institutional to office use. Project also includes demolition of Buildings E and G and a shed, alterations to landmarked landscape features, and restoration of existing wetland. Certificate of Approval from the Department of Neighborhoods will be required for demolition, expansion, and modifications to landmarked buildings and landscaping.
