Dec. 15, 2019: Construction of a new 45,000 sf truck freight cross dock at Terminal 115. Property leased from Port of Seattle by Alaska Marine Lines (AML). Demolition of existing small metal and wood frame maintenance buildings. Project includes repaving approx. 9 acres of the 37 acre site. Existing utilities are adequately sized and will be relocated/extended as required. Existing entry/exit access to the site from West Marginal Way will be improved in current locations. No work on street right of way. No work withing shoreline boundary proposed or required. No additional truck or passenger vehicle traffic will be generated.
