Feb. 10, 2020: This Project will complete the planned improvements to the South Recreational & Athletic Fields at Jane Addams Middle School, begun in 2003. At that time, two large multipurpose fields were improved by conversion to synthetic turf and the installation of field lights on the east field. This project proposes to install seven (7) light poles ranging in height from 70' to 80' at the existing west field. Under SMC 23.51B.002.D.6.b.1, the project requires a Special Exception for over-height Light Standards in Residential Land Use Zones.
