1500 ALASKAN WAY

March 26, 2020: Located east of the existing Seattle Aquarium, the Ocean Pavilion is a new two-story structure with a rooftop terrace that will connect to the new Overlook walk. This building (50,000 GSF) will house live animal exhibits, event space, and informational conservation displays. Existing conditions indicate proposed Main Corridor and Overlook Walk work as permitted under SDCI #3026658-LU which will be developed before or simultaneously with the Seattle Aquarium Ocean Pavilion project. The Seattle Aquarium Ocean Pavilion is currently in SDOT ROW. The development site is defined by City Council action.
