May 13, 2020: The proposed project is exempt under Seattle Municipal Code SMC 23.60.020 C1 - normal maintenance and repair that does not cause substantial adverse effects to shoreline resources or environment. The street end is currently marked for and used as shoreline view access and vegetation overgrowth is hindering visual access to the street end by the public. Appropriate BMPs such as silt fencing will be used during planting to ensure that landscaping activities do not impact the shoreline.
