July 26, 2020: Proposed Kindbody (https://kindbody.com/) use is a Medical Clinic specializing in fertility, gynecology and wellness. The proposed street level tenant improvement will include a retail storefront and retail offerings at the front lobby of the space. The TI will also include exam rooms for fertility consultations, IVF laboratory for egg and embryo freezing, procedure room, nurses station, and recovery bays. At this time the applicant needs to move forward with any required Use Permit, Administrative Conditional Use, Variance, Rezone or Special Exception. The applicant is hereby requesting City of Seattle confirm which use entitlement process will be required to permit the proposed street level use. The applicant has submitted multiple questions/requests to SCI and has not received clear direction from SCI. The Applicant cannot afford to develop construction drawings, submit into building plan check and then have it be determined if/which entitlement process will be required. The Applicant requests clear direction now. From communication with City of Seattle the Applicant understands the ability for the proposed use to be street level use may be the outstanding question.
