1201 NE 145TH ST

March 30, 2021: Sound Transit plans, builds, and operates regional transit systems and services to improve mobility in urban areas of King, Pierce and Snohomish counties. The voter approved ST3 Plan included Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) projects as part of ST's high-capacity transit (HCT) service to be designed for fast and reliable service, including frequent arrivals and departures. The SR 522/NE 145th Street BRT project (the Project) will run along NE 145th Street and SR 522 from the Shoreline South/148th Station to Bothell and terminating at the planned SR 522/I-405 Transit Hub. Figure A-1 shows the proposed project including the BRT route, station locations, and parking garage locations and transit priority treatments. The Shoreline segment is shown in green. Service will run every 10 minutes all day between Seattle/Shoreline and Bothell. Riders will be able transfer to Link Light Rail at the Shoreline South/NE 148th Link light rail Station, to the I-405 BRT in Bothell, and to King County Metro and Community Transit bus service.
