10400 HOLMAN RD N

Oct. 12, 2022: Our parcel # is 3626039398. I provided a street address because the online application form required me to but our lot does not have a street address because it is vacant.

We want to build an affordable housing apartment building. We want the structure to be as large as possible in order to help ease Seattle's low income housing crisis. Challenges with this site are 3-fold:

1) There is a water line that runs east/west for which there is an easement along the northern 10' of the lot.
2) There is a sewer line that runs east/west right down the middle of the lot for which there is no easement.
3) The neighbor building (207 N 104TH ST) has an access easement on our lot

The plan we consider a win for everybody (Seattle, low income people, neighbor and SPU) is for us to secure a build-over agreement variance so that we can build a structure "on stilts" covering the entire lot. This would maximize the number of low income people we could serve and still allow SPU access to their utility lines (but the one they have an easement for and the one they do not have an easement for) while also enabling the neighbors continued access to their lot.
