4811 SW BRACE POINT DR

Dec. 18, 2022: *Application should be a shoreline EX, Proposal moved to 6968670-EX

Application in response to Shoreline Violations: 1054442-VI, 1055014-VI
Make demarcation on my property between the public Shore View Street End and my property adjacent to the South on the beach.  The SDOT will not fence or sign this street end, per Omar Akari.  Although he did say I could use temporary dune fencing.

Public used to use these 117 feet of beach (my 60', street end 20' and North adjacent 37' for partying wildly when both residences were inhabited by owners who had dementia for 5-10. Years.  The public still wants to trespass on my beach and tidelands, leaving behind dog waste, alcohol bottles, smoking paraphernalia, trash, condoms, etc. They also wish to launch small watercraft off and back onto my beach and tidelands, picnic, run in my sand yard after my dog and cat, yell at me when I very politely ask them to use the public area adjacent , or enjoy LIncoln Park just to the north 1/4 mile away.  People come to this tiny street end because  leave their dogs off leash, bc they see the private beach owners with their dogs.

I need some demarcation of my property.  I prefer as high a fence as you permit, to keep public from staring in my yard, yelling at me & my dog and cat.  Some public are violent.

***. I need the Shoreline Permit Exemption for Dune fencing, or driftwood fence perpendicular to the water on my private property within the allowable feet from the concrete bulkhead. It's a small, very low impact tiny project.

When the public gets aggressive and violent, is when I put up the bamboo higher fencing, to protect myself and my animals from them, and to keep my dry and wet sand sanitary.  It also protects the public's health and safety be containing them to their area, where they can see the trash and live with it, or pick it up.

Technically, as I understand it this is a Shore View only Street End.  Public is not to access the water except during high tide, and not to infringe on the private dry and wet sand private property here.  I am okay with them walking straight down to the water's edge, and walking - keep moving along the shoreline.  They are not entitled to this, but as long as they comply and my property line is clearly marked, I can give this.

The City should be responsible for protecting both the public and the private citizens who pay big taxes to live here.
