The property in question is zoned NR3 and the use of child care facility is allowed outright per SMC 23.44.006 (per email from Alisa Johansson, Land Use Planner Seattle Department of Construction and Inspections).

The home was previously used as a pre-school and is outfitted for a full-time child care. The house is ready to meet SDCI Tip #108, WACs and DCYF licensing requirements with approval for use by city. The DCYF licensing process is underway.
