July 5, 2023: Shoreline Substantial Development application to allow a new 2-story passenger ferry terminal with retail (Seattle Ferry Terminal at Colman Dock); queuing area for 611 vehicles, new loading and unloading area, and passenger bridge, replace and reconfigure the timber pile portion of the dock and to remove 2,600 timber piles and replace with 618 new steel and concrete piles. Project includes removal of a bulkhead and grading of 7,700 cu. yds. of contaminated fill and to install a clean fill cap layer. Determination of Non-Significance issued by Washington State Department of Transportation. Complete Work approved under Shoreline Permit 3013294-LU.

Sept. 20, 2023: Permits issued.
