we are seeking a use permit for storage yard as that use has been historically in place. Following is the owner's summary of that history, dates are approximate:
2000, 2001, & 2002: Merlino Contruction used the lot to store equipment and materials for City of Seattle Job that included repaving and other repairs to water and sewer system for all of Cloverdale St.
2003 to 2017: Rasmussen Equipment stored machinery in the lot.
2020: Ponderosa stored equipment and materials for City of Seattle job to repair Sewer System on 5th Avenue S.
2021: Westwater Construction stored equipment and materials for City of Seattle job to repair Sewer System on 8th Avenue S.
2022: OMA Construction store equipment and materials for City of Seattle job to build water stored ponds directly across the street on North side of Cloverdale.
As noted, contractors for the City of Seattle have been using the site for storage of equipment and materials.
