Jan. 6, 2024: I am writing to request a usage permit for dockside access behind 1800 Westlake Ave N to operate a hot tub boat rental business called Lux Hot Tub Boats (LHTB).

LHTB will be storing 4 Spacruzzi hot tub boats at Slip E20. These 295-gallon vessels use salt water chlorination systems and will require grey water disposal to the city sewer line, with water changes only as needed. The boats are equipped with ozone filtration, plus portable water filtration systems for sanitation.

The electric and propane-powered hot tubs are eco-friendly options that will limit air and lake pollution risks. All embarking and disembarking of rental guests will happen at the shoreline dock -no customers will access the moorage slips.
