The change of use will be from commercial to residential. The alterations will convert the existing commercial space to 16-22 residential apartments. The proposal includes a Type 1 Decision exception request per 24.27A.008.D.2 to allow the apartments to be located 18" above grade. The existing building was permitted under DCLU 9602920 per 1994 UBC w/ 94 SBC Amendments.
