I am applying for a building permit and a zoning variance for an addition of a mudroom to my front entrance of my property.
There currently exists a porch with a roof leading to the front entrance. The mudroom will be underneath the existing porch's overhang and built within the exisiting porch's footprint.
The variance requested is the relief to the 3-foot side setback code per SMC 23.45.518.J.1.
