12029 4TH AVE NW

Aug. 10, 2024: We have an existing permit for a remodel just completed in January 2024 at 12029 4TH AVE NW Seattle, WA 98177.  There was an issue identified with a deck that was built by a previous owner.  The inspector flagged the deck as out of compliance with code due to its encroachment on the back lot boundary.  We have a funky property line due to some subdividing that happened long before we purchased.  We are pursuing a variance to keep the existing deck as is and get sign off on the construction.
