Sept. 9, 2024: This permit is being requested in response to a Citation Warning # 1058283-CT issued by SDCI on 5/1/24. This citation is in reference to an awning-covered stairway which extends from the street down a very steep hill to the residence below. The walkway has a working, functional, electric chair-lift which has been in place for 25 years to assist handicapped individuals a safe and secure access to the residence below. It is still very necessary.
