June 6, 2025: I am the owner of a lot just over 33,000 square feet zoned at 9,700 square feet. There is an existing structure (home). I would like to subdivide the property into three equal lots of approximately 11,000 square feet each. I believe in order for some developer to build three new single-family homes, I will need to obtain a permit to remove two trees (tier two). One of the two trees has a significant (I would say dangerous) lean, but the other one just a few feet away is healthy. I don't plan to construct anything, just to sell to someone else that would develop the property. I have many trees on my property, but I believe all can be retained, except for these two. I request a pre-application meeting to understand the requirement I must meet to obtain the tree removal permits and to subdivide the property.
