Feb. 17, 2026: Shoreline Substantial Development Application to allow installation of new electrical infrastructure for the operation of a new hybrid electric ferry fleet at the Seattle Ferry Terminal (Colman Dock). The project includes 2 vessel charging systems at the ferry terminal, electrical equipment on the Pier 48 uplands, 2 submarine electrical cables from the Pier 48 uplands to the ferry terminal, and 7 dolphins for vessel berthing. A portion of Pier 48 to be demolished. Determination of non-significance has been prepared by Washington State Ferries.
