Aug. 27, 2025: For over 20 years there has existed a fence separating ours and our southern neighbor's property that is about 5 1/2 feet inside their property line. We have always assumed that 5 1/2 feet was part of our property, but have since have come to believe that is incorrect. We have a verbal agreement with our neighbor to have the lot line adjusted so that the approximately 5 1/2 feet is incorporated into our existing property line.
