Dec. 8, 2025: This Lot Boundary Adjustment application is being submitted to facilitate the sale of a portion of property owned by Brighton Properties, a nonprofit affordable housing provider, to Urban Family, a nonprofit organization that offers family support and youth development programs. Urban Family plans to develop a new community service center with affordable housing above on the subject parcel. The transaction is being supported by a grant from the Equitable Development Initiative (EDI), and there is a general urgency to complete the transfer within the next few months, contingent upon LBA approval. We respectfully request any assistance the City can provide in conducting an expedited review to support timely completion of this important community-serving project.
