March 5, 2026: We are proposing an interior remodel that will involve upgrades to plumbing, electrical systems, insulation, sheetrock, as well as improvements to the kitchen and bathrooms.
The planned structural changes include:
 Extending the front of the garage by 18 inches.
 Expanding the garage by 4 feet on the side and relocating the garage door from the front to the side.
 Constructing a new bathroom at the rear corner, which requires extending 36 square feet toward the water.
Attached is our preliminary research regarding relevant building codes. We recognize that the proposed extension toward the water may necessitate a variance. We respectfully request your guidance on the permit application process.
