The line of dolphins in their original condition consisted of six dolphins, each a combination of plumb and
batter pile clusters. In 2023, the northernmost dolphin failed and was replaced by a 30-inch-diameter steel
pile. The second dolphin from the north also failed and was removed, and then in November 2025, the third
dolphin from the north failed and was removed. The proposed Project replaces these two (removed dolphins
and removes and replaces the existing three southern dolphins with 30-inch steel piles in their approximate
historical locations.
