March 14, 2026: Construction of the Chelan Wet Weather Storage Tank located at 4034 West Marginal Way SW. There will be a new above-grade 4,995-sf one-story facility building (approx. 111-ft x 45-ft) with a concrete slab foundation on structural fill that will include: a 1,400-sf generator room (approx. 25-ft x 56-ft), a 1,258-sf electrical room (approx. 17-ft x 74-ft), a 48-sf restroom (approx. 6-ft x 8-ft), a 240-sf communication room (approx. 15-ft x 16-ft), and a 1,247-sf C2 room (approx. 29-ft x 43-ft) with a utility area, hydropneumatics tank, C2 booster pumps, tipping bucket valves, and air gap tank. A new above grade 2,250-sf architecturally screened odor control area (approx. 50-ft x 45-ft) with a concrete slab foundation on structural fill that will include: architectural screening (approx. 10-ft in height), dual bed scrubber, enclosed fan, filter, raised platform, and roof access. A new above-grade 4,200-sf one-story tipping bucket enclosure (approx. 300-ft x 13-ft) with a concrete slab foundation on structural fill. The new building footprint areas total 11,445-sf (facility building, screened odor control area, and tipping bucket enclosure). New at-grade impervious pavement areas and landscaping that include: an 11,514-sf fire apparatus road, a 3,857-sf maintenance access road, and 1,143-sf of parking with 6 stalls total (2 EV and 4 for maintenance). A new 7,078-sf stormwater bioretention cell providing water quality and infiltration for targeted surfaces and 1,066 linear feet of new fencing to include 2 new vehicular access gates. A new below-grade 37,500-sf, 7 MG storage tank (approx. 300-ft x 125-ft) with structural fill foundation material and associated channels and mechanical facilities that include: five flushing channels, a collection channel, and pump sump. There will be new access hatches (4 total) and a new 288-sf drain pump vault (approx. 12-ft x 24-ft). The new construction areas total is 68,950-sf with new and replaced impervious surfaces totaling 66,570-sf with total site excavation of 81,900-cy.
