This will be a Priority II Affordable Housing Project.
The proposed development consists of a new 7-story affordable multifamily residential building located on the vacant portion of the property adjacent to the existing Norman Mitchell Manor. The project will provide 22 affordable housing units consisting of a mix of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units serving low-income residents.
The building is proposed with one ground floor level containing resident-supportive amenities, including a common laundry room, food pantry, and multipurpose community room, with six residential floors above. The project is anticipated to utilize a single-exit stair serving the residential levels.
Site improvements include pedestrian access, landscaping, utility infrastructure, and three off-street parking spaces accessed from E Spruce Street.
