Feb. 21, 2025: The Talisman condominiums are a 5-story steel framed building with exterior concrete shear panels built in approximately 1964. After a plumbing break and subsequent investigation by J2 building consultants it was discovered that the connectors supporting large concrete shear panels on this steel framed structure were damaged (rusted) over time due to water intrusion and their ability to support the concrete shear panels is a concern.
