July 11, 2025: Install a 6' plus 2' lattice Cedar fence on the back of our property next to a concrete retaining wall. A Permit Specialist at SDCI said this type of project would require a Construction permit. Additionally, the site is mapped as an environmentally critical area (ECA), and requires an ECA exemption/relief. In order to apply for an ECA exemption/relief, a Pre-Application Site Visit (PASV) is required prior to the exemption/relief submittal.
