The proposal is for a combined Shoreline Substantial Development Permit and Critical Areas Land Use Permit for the removal of approximately 73,625 square feetof Himalayan blackberry, restoration of approximately 62,875 square feet of that areawith a diversity of native plant species and theinstallation of a soft-surface trail and atimber-frame pedestrian bridge, and stairway. All trail, bridge and stairwayconstruction is proposed to occur outside of the of the ordinary high water mark ofthe Mercer Slough and adjacent Type F and Type N stream.
