June 24, 2014: Brightmont Academy. Brightmont Academy is looking to make tenant improvements to suit their needs at a yet to be determined location. But before deciding on a new location they want to officially establish what their use would be classified as for land use purposes and what occupancy classification they would have for building code requirements. Establishing their use per land use code allows them to determine the process required to opening a new facility in Bellevue. Establishing the occupancy classification allows us to plan their facility with appropriate exiting and life/safety requirements. In both cases their business model doesn't fit exactly into the categories available in the code. The attachments provided include a typical facility plan, typical student/teacher schedule and a narrative of their business model. Tony Beals,Brightmont Academy's Operations Manager would like to meet with team making this determination to provide whatever additional information might be required.
