Feb. 23, 2015: Second Unit Addition. On our parcel # 2201500465 there are two units. The first unit is designed and used 100% as an Adult Family Home. The second unit was remodeled in 2006-2007 with the permit # B05M2717 issued by King County and is being used by us as living space since the property was purchased in 2011.The living area of this second unit is 850 square feet. We realized we need to improve our living conditions since the actual floor plan and square footage do not meet anymore the decency of a normal living for a family. We believe the solution is to add a second floor to unit 2. According to LUC 20.20.125 the maximum height for the second unit located on the same parcel is limited to 15 feet.With all due respect we would like to ask you to take in consideration our request and approve an exception to pass the height limit of 15 feet. We need 5-6 more feet in height allowing us to built a decent construction and in the same time keep the harmony between thetwo units of the property without changing the rest of parcel.
