April 17, 2015: Lawn and Rockery *15-108403 EA*. Resolve enforcement action 15-108403 EA concerning 8' Maximum height rockery in critical area buffer. Seeking guidance regarding acceptable design solutions that allow all or a portion of the as built rockery to remain such as to avoid the site disturbance associated with removal. Due to limited site access (without removal of trees or residence), removal of bottom 4' of rocks may not be technically feasible without disturbance or risk to equipment operator. We are requesting that this rockery be designed according to best geotechnical practice according to: 20.25H.125 Performance standards: Landslide hazards and steep slopes, which allows retaining walls that enable the maintenance of natural graded slopes.
