July 13, 2015: Bruce Property Steep Slope Buffer Reduction. Predevelopment Services evaluation of proposed steep slope buffer reduction from 50 feet to 20 feet for two proposed homesites. The two parcels include a developed tax parcel with a single family home and an adjacent vacant tax parcel. BDR Holdings LLC proposes to demolish the existing home, complete a boundary line adjustment between the two parcels, and then build two new, single family homes. The existing home extends well into the 50' buffer, and the area contained within the reduced 20' is disturbed and includes a dirt road and a portion of the existing home. BDR Holdings proposes to reduce the steep slope buffer to 20' and provide enhancement to the steep slope critical area and buffer as mitigation.
