Jan. 6, 2017: Mummulla Storm Questions. We are working on our custom single-family home project on our lot in Bridle Trails with John Buchan Homes. In order to proceed with the design, we would like to request a couple of clarifications from you about the storm water drain running through our property: (1) What is the farthest north we can push the drain, including the easements? We would like to relocate the drain and push it as far to the northern boundary of the property as possible so we have more area to work with for our new footprint. (2) What easement requirements do we have on the drain? Per the attached title report and the communication below, the only permanent easement we have on our site is for the pond. The easement for the storm water drain is a temporary construction easement (3) Per the city records, where does this storm water drain end? Per our survey performed by GeoDimensions last year, the drain is draining into the property on the west side of our lot and not connected to the city storm water drain. (4) Once we relocate the storm water drain, where do we connect it to the city storm water drain system?
