12008 SE 9th Pl

Sept. 29, 2017: Medina Wilburton Siphons Odor Control Project. Address odor and corrosion issues by replacing existing aging Odor Control Units (OCUs) at the Medina Siphon Discharge Structure located east of 116th Avenue and south of NE 4th Street in the Eastside Rail Corridor (ERC) with a new odor control facility at WTDs existing Wilburton Pump Station located near the intersection of SE 9th Place and 121st Ave SE. The existing above grade building is 667 SF including 143 SF of partially open area over the wet well and 1112 SF of below grade building. The facility will be located within the footprint of the existing pump station and situated primarily below grade. The facility will occupy a portion of the paved area west of the existing building and a portion of the unpaved slope between the paved area and the building. A small above ground building (approximately 175 SF) will be provided for a restroom and for an electrical room housing equipment to support the primarily below ground rooms (approximately 1,087 SF) housing the OCU and a fan. The facility will require the installation of a foul air pipe connection west across 121st Ave SE to the ESI.
Repurpose an existing ESI siphon barrel (16 and 22-inch diameter) to transport foul air from the Wilburton Siphon Inlet structure located on the south side of the intersection of the ERC and SE 5th Street to the area west of 121st Ave SE adjacent to the new odor control facility at the pump station. This will require installation of a cured in place pipe (CIPP) lining in the pipe.

Dec. 18, 2017: Completed.
