March 27, 2018: King County Coal Creek Siphon Trunk Parallel. This project is to upgrade the Coal Creek Trunk sewer to provide additional capacity sothat the 20-year peak wastewater flows can be conveyed through 2060. The existing pipeline is not large enough to meet the capacity requirement so new capacity must be provided. The project will incorporate HDD drilling as well as conventional trench construction techniques. Portions of the existing sewer system located on Bellevue Parks property will need to be abandoned. More detailed description is attached with this submittal.
