Sept. 13, 2018: COBT West Lake Sammamish Parkway Phase 2. The corridor improvement project is intended to provide a consistent 4' shoulder on the east side, a 10.5' northbound vehicle travel lane, a 10' wide southbound vehicle travel lane, a primarily 10' wide multi-purpose trail, and a 2' or 5' wide landscape buffer where space is available. Pedestrian crossings were identified for SE 26th St, Northup Way, NE 24th St, and 5 other locations along the parkway. A signal may be installed at SE 34th St. The project will also make storm drainage, water quality, and fish passage improvements as needed throughout the corridor.
