Nov. 25, 2019: Carr Guest Cottage. The proposed project involves the construction of a detached guest cottage and in-ground pool. New decking will be constructed around the exterior of the pool. The pool will measure 44 feet by 22 feet, with a maximum depth of six feet. Pool equipment will be housed within a portion of the existing boathouse. The guest cottage will measure 35 feet by 18 feet. The guest cottage will contain a small gathering area, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. Ancillary improvements include the removal of impervious surfaces in portions of the lot along with the installation of mitigation plantings. New impervious surfaces will total less than 2,000 square feet. Therefore, a Short-Form SWPPP will be prepared and submitted as part of the building permit process.
