March 3, 2020: BASIS Bellevue. The site is 15749 NE 4th Street, Bellevue, WA 98008. It
is an existing school, the Jewish Day School, who
intends to sell to a new operator BASIS Independent
Schools and who will also operate the same school
use. Light renovation is planned over a three phase
process (Phase 1 is 2020 to 2021, Phase 2 is 2021 to 2024,
and Phase 3 is 2024 and onward). Based on the use and
work we see Phase 1 as a Land Use Exemption and
Phase 2 and 3 as a Land Use Amendment, and each
phase as a BZ tenant improvement building permit. We
would like to review these and other details with all
departments.
