Aug. 12, 2020: East Base Yard Lighting. Metro proposed to upgrade its bus base yard lighting in response to a citation from Washington State Dept. of Labor & Industries. The project includes installation of new light pole foundations, new light poles and fixtures; where needed, replacement of existing poles and light fixtures; and replacement of existing fixtures, where existing pole is re-usable. There will also be accompanying electrical work, installation of conduit, handholes and junction boxes, landscaping, and some civil work.
