Aug. 24, 2020: Cascade Key Boathouse Maintenance. The existing boathouse structure is in need of repair and the owners of a single- family residence would like to repair siding, decking, re-paint, replace windows, and replace a deteriorating roof. Minor deviations to the existing structure have been proposed such as a change in materials and a reduction in over-water decking and a reduction in over-water structure. Removal of a creosote pile is proposed to reduce overwater structure. No work is proposed on existing piles to remain. Existing vegetation and (2) trees within 10' of the OHWM will remain and no new planting is proposed.
