Sept. 24, 2020: 15325 SE Newport Way. Tree fell on house - OK to remove tree and protect residence ASAP* damage to roof structure & ceiling at rear mid point of residence. Chimney (wood framed non-structural) has significant damage. Tree is resting on beams above window and fireplace. Leaking ceiling from rear to front of house. No visible damage to wiring (in attic) at this time. Unable to inspect above ceiling. House is posted YELLOW (limited access). Do not recommend prolonged occupancy of living room below tree until tree is removed. A building permit is required for repairs.
