Oct. 19, 2020: 12 Bellevue Way. Approximately 278 unit multifamily residential project with 5 stories of Type VA construction over 2 stories of Type IA construction with an additional 2 stories below grade. Parking for approximately 298 stalls is proposed in a structured parking garage. The project is not currently pursuing the allowed 1.0 FAR exempt affordable housing. The project is pursuing upzoning the southern parcel from its current zone, Office, to Downtown Mixed Use to create a uniform zoning for the site and fix a split zone parcel condition. The main residential entry will be on the southwest side of site facing the required 20 ft. setback. An approximately 7,000 SF Plaza (6,029 SF required, plus 75 percent lot coverage) overlaps the front setback requirement of the current Office zone. Approximately 13,000 SF of retail provided at street level facing the shopping street of Bellevue Way SE. A 12 ft. sidewalk easement along Bellevue Way SE is required by City of Bellevue Land Use Code. 2 curb cuts are proposed for the site, one right in, right out located along Main Street to be primarily used for Retail and Visitor parking. The residential parking entrance, trash truck and Fire Lane entrances are located at the South corner of the site from Bellevue Way SE. The project proposes a street vacation of SE 1st St.
