Dec. 14, 2020: Nelson Mann. Predevelopment Review. We are trying to dial in a floor plan and check on potential exemptions. We are hoping to utilize entire basement floor space for potential future rental / ADU use, but it exceeds 40% of overall square footage. If we move existing water lines it increases the price substantially vs maintaining existing locations. As you can see from plans, maintaining these locations means more finished floor space. Are there exemptions or other issues that may help these clients age in place in their home, while renting the entire basement to family or future caretakers?
