Jan. 14, 2021: PSE Customer Gas Main Extension - Long Residence. A Shoreline Exemption permit application was submitted to the City on 10/26/2020 and after review, the City determined that this project in its entirety does not meet the qualifications for a Shoreline Exemption. This project will now be separated into two permit applications; one Shoreline Exemption and one Shoreline Substantial Development. SSDP To tie into the existing 2in gas main located in the paved right-of-way of Lakehurst Ln SE, one 5x7 ft cut will be made in the paved Lakehurst Ln SE right-of-way. To ensure correct placement of the 2in gas main extension, 7 2x4ft hole hog pits will be cut into the paved Lakehurst Ln SE right-of-way. The total cost for the 2in gas main extension is estimated at $32,807 and does not qualify for a Shoreline Exemption, therefore the City would need to issue a Shoreline Substantial Development Permit. Shoreline Exemption Permit The Shoreline Exemption portion of the project will be processed under existing Shoreline Exemption application 20 120148 WD. The limits of this project includes one 3x5ft window cut, one 2x4ft hog hole pit and one 8in radius pothole to be cut into the paved right-of-way of Lakehurst Lane SE to ensure correct placement of the gas line, as well as to avoid existing utilities in the project area. A 1-1/8in gas service line will be connected to the main in Lakehurst Lane SE and will extend to the gas meter at the south side of the residence at 4885 Lakehurst Lane SE. Total cost for SE is $2393.
