Jan. 25, 2021: Faghih Pier and Floodplain Restoration. *19-111890EA* An existing 8 x 31 pier covering the 48 inch corrugated steel half drainpipe will be removed by the city of Bellevue. The 48 inch corrugated steel half drainpipe eight (8) support piles will remain in place. The low twelve (12) inch high brick wall and patio (approximately 15 Cu. Yds. of material) will be removed from the floodplain per Code Compliance File No, 19-111890-EA. Install fourteen (14) 6 inch diameter and two (2) 4 inch diameter galvanized steel support piles and two (2) 2 inch diameter galvanized steel pin piles via a vibratory pile driving system. Build a 477 SF pier. Dimensional lumber will be cut to size on shore and assembled over water. Install a freestanding boatlift w/attached translucent canopy and two (2) pier mounted PWC lifts. The eight (8) piles supporting the forty-eight (48) inch diameter corrugated steel half drainpipe will be cut down to the top of the half pipe.
